The Department of Instrumentation Engineering was established in 1995. The name of the Instrumentation Engineering Department was changed to Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Department from the year 2003. The Department started instruction to Four Year B.Tech (E.I.E.) students with an intake of sixty students. It has subsequently been increased to 120 students since Academic year 2007. The Department has well qualified dedicated Teaching staff. It has 1 Professor, 5 Assistant Professors and 15 Lecturers - a total of 21. The Department has 7 different Laboratories, Class rooms, Library and office as given below:

5.Advanced Instrumentation  / Medical Electronics Lab

* The Internet facility has been extended to all the students through a fiber optic backbone network.
