The College is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission,  with Agrade and CGPA of 3.17. As a post accreditation quality sustenance measure the college has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) as per the NAAC guidelines with the following functions:

 

Functions:

1. Development and application of quality benchmark/ parameters in various activities of the institution.

2. Development and review of Outcomes-based Approaches to Teaching and Learning

3. Development and review of integrated framework for curriculum

4. Recording and monitoring attainment of program outcomes and program educational objectives

5. Monitoring and review of student services

6. Dissemination of information on quality aspects to the stakeholders

7. Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality related activities

8. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report and such other reports as may attachments

 

Strategies

IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for

a) Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks;

b) The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes;

c) Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society;

d) Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning;

e) The credibility of evaluation procedures;

f) Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services;

g) Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
