About Our Department

         Best Departments in the state with challengingly advanced equipment and a supporting experienced faculty. The labs of the Department are timely revived to cope up with the specifications of Consultancy Projects, which yet is another major strength of the Department. The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the departments available from the inception of the College in 1977. Postgraduate course in structures was started in year 1999.
         The Department is very active in academic, research and consultancy programs. It received grant for TAPTEC Project. The Department has very sophisticated test facilities such as Non Destructive testing of concrete, Bump Integrator, Auto Compacter, Stack sampler, Wind tunnel,Total Station, etc. The Department is in the process of acquiring loading frame..

         We believe the process of education is complete only when it is viable for application hence we promote the students in taking part of various consultancy projects.

• 1.Register with Rs.150 for only technical day - You can participate in any 3 events.If registered for Paper Presentation(PPT) then You can participate in 3 events in addition with PPT.
• 2.Register with Rs.250 for both technical and cultural days and you can participate in any 6 events on both these days,In case if you are not selected for PPT then you can participate in other 6 events of your choice.
• 3.An Unique identification number(User ID) will be given (on registration page after completion) for future referencing and addressing.
• 4.This Number should be present on PAPER,POSTER,Abstracts in addition to the content.
• 5.The User ID must be written on back of DD (pencil) and sent through post/Courier to IT Dept.,VRSEC,KANURU,VIJAYAWADA.
