association of VRSEC setup one crore fund to
help economically poor students. Mr. Nannapaneni
Mohan, Secretary, TANA, Mr. P. Ravikumar,
President and Mr. Janakiram Prasad, Secretary of
VRSECOSA played major role in setting of this
fund with the kind contributions from Alumni in
India and abroad. Siddhartha Academy of General
and Technical association is also contributing
balance fund to award 50 scholarships of Rs
15,000/- each for needy and bright students.
First Scholarship
award function is held on 31st December, 2009 at
VR Siddhartha Engineering College. Sri. P.
Lakshmana Rao garu, Convener of the college and
Treasurer of SAGTE distributed the scholarship
cheques to the selected candidates. Dr K. Mohan
Rao, Principal, Dr. G. Sambasiva Rao,
Vice-principal, P. Ravikumar, president of
VRSECOSA, D. Sreenivas, K. Muralikrisha, Dr. G.N.
Swamy, N. Ravikumar, HoDs and students attended
the function.
