Admission Policy

To ensure admission of students based on their performance in the entrance examinations, identifying their academic competence and potentialities of high quality to play their role in the process of nation building and social reconstruction in a meaningful manner.

To promote multicultural feel by admitting students from diverse national, linguistic backgrounds with special emphasis on encouraging students hailing from different socio economic sections.

Merit is being given the top most priority in student admissions. Admission criteria are clearly laid out and made available on University website in a transparent manner well ahead of admissions schedule.

Admission Notification

The institution publishes admission notifications for various programs of study in  daily newspapers & University website 60 days before the commencement of admissions. Interested candidates can visit the University website or link for information on admission procedures, scholarships, and entrance tests required for admission into the programs offered by the University.

Prospectus and Registration

Details such as intake, reservation policy, admission process, fee structure, scholarships, faculty resources, infrastructural facilities and placement record are all made available through the university website.

  • The details of eligibility criteria, percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination, age limit, entrance test pattern, test centres, important dates, registration fee, instructions for registration, scholarships, admission procedure and admission modes for different programs offered by the University are provided in the prospectus and on the University website.
  • Attested copies of the required eligibility documents must be uploaded with the registration forms.
  • The University reserves the right to accept or reject any registration if a deficiency is found in the eligibility criteria or in the information provided in the registration form. If the eligibility document(s) of a candidate is/are not found genuine, at any point of time, the marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university is /are liable to be cancelled without any liability on the part of university and the entire fee paid will be forfeited.

 

 

Entrance Examination

Entrance examinations are conducted at various centers across India, as determined each year by the “Admissions Advisory Committee” to facilitate admissions to different programs of study. The University reserves the right to change or cancel any examination center without providing a reason. Additional details and modalities of the entrance test can be found on the University website/ prospectus.

Counseling Procedure

  • On successful completion of admission test results are intimated to the students through SMS and E-mail. Results are also made available in the university website for the benefit of the students. Counseling schedule will be displayed in university website.
  • As per the counseling schedule, necessary arrangements are made in the University premises for allotment of seat. Once the students and the parents reach the university campus containing all the details of the student, they are guided to the counseling hall.
  • Change of date or time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate fails to appear personally for counseling on the date and time specified, he or she will forfeit his candidature for the allotment of seat in that day. However, he or she is eligible to appear for subsequent counseling depending on the availability of seats.
  • The candidates should produce the required documents in originals along with one set of photocopies while reporting for Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without the documents.
  • The provisional allotment of seats will be informed to the candidate in the counseling and the prescribed fee has to be paid on the same day. No extension of time or date will be permitted for reporting and payment of the fee.

Spot Admissions

After the completion of all phases of counseling, any remaining vacancies will be filled through Spot Admissions. The notification will be issued and placed on the Notice Boards and University website. A paper advertisement will also be published to fill the remaining vacancies as needed. Only candidates who have not yet taken admission will be allowed to participate in spot admissions. Vacancies will first be filled with candidates who have secured a rank in the common entrance test for the concerned course. If any vacancies remain, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% marks will be considered.

  • Reservation guidelines are followed in alignment with the UGC regulations and directives.

Scholarship Policy

  • Eligibility for Scholarships:
  • Scholarships are offered based on merit across all programs.
  • Scholarships are limited to 30% of the intake in respective courses and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis for the programmes approved by Executive Council from time to time.
  • Continuation of Scholarships:
  • Scholarships will be continued in subsequent years only if the students maintains mminimum of 75% attendance & 5 CGPA without backlogs.
  • Discontinuation: Scholarships will be discontinued if these conditions are not fulfilled.

Discontinuance or Cancellation of Admission

Refund Policy:

In case of cancellation of admission

  • Admission fee is non-refundable.
  • The tuition fee will be refunded to the candidate in accordance with UGC guidelines.
