Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC), now Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education an institution Deemed to be University, has been a pioneer in engineering education in Andhra Pradesh. As it moves forward, the Institute Development Plan focuses on enhancing academic excellence, expanding research, and strengthening infrastructure. This includes updating curricula to reflect global technological trends, offering interdisciplinary programs, and enhancing faculty qualifications. The university aims for international accreditations, faculty development, and closer industry collaborations to ensure that students are prepared for modern challenges. Research will be bolstered through new centers of excellence, enhanced funding, and a focus on intellectual property generation.

The plan also emphasizes holistic student development, with initiatives such as skill development programs, entrepreneurship support, and extracurricular engagement through clubs and sports. To move towards more multidisciplinary education by developing and offering cutting edge and demand driven educational programs in various disciplines of knowledge through advanced laboratories and to start even new Institutions as per the need of the community & Industry.
To introduce required Certificate/Diploma and Skill Development programs to create better employability, establishing start-ups and to encourage entrepreneurship among students by exercising the opportunity of enhanced autonomy by instituting appropriate linkages/ MoUs with the industry & organisations for skill development centres.
To collaborate with other reputed Universities in India and abroad, Research Institutions, Government, Non-Government organization, foreign universities and industry towards fulfilment of objectives of the proposed deemed to be University.
To create centers of excellence for research and development and for sharing knowledge and their applications.
