Common Admission Tests

The University conducts various Common Admission Tests to ensure a fair and merit-based selection process for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across multiple disciplines. These tests are tailored to assess the specific knowledge and skills required for programs in Engineering, Management, Science. The entrance exam for Engineering is in line with APEAPCET. The entrance exam for Management includes assessments of Arithmetic, logic, Reasoning and General Knowledge. The entrance exam for MCA is based on Analytical, Mathematical, Communication abilities. While the entrance exam for Ph.D.is based on subject specific relevant to each field of study.By using a standardized testing mechanism, the University maintains high academic standards and ensures that only the most qualified and motivated candidates are admitted into its diverse academic programs.

Siddhartha Engineering Entrance Examination (SEEE) for admission to B. Tech (Regular -Four Year Course)

            Eligibility criteria for appearing SEEE (Siddhartha Engineering Entrance Examination):

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old and must have passed Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are eligible.

Eligibility criteria for admission into B. Tech (Regular):

  • Candidates qualified in / JEE (Mains) / SEEE / APEAPCET with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 or its equivalent are eligible for admission.
  • If any seats remain unfilled, such seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (10+2) or its equivalent.

Lateral Entry in B.Tech

Eligibility criteria for admission into B. Tech (Lateral Entry):

  • Admissions to the Lateral Entry Second Year Undergraduate Degree (B.Tech) course(s) are offered up to a maximum of 10% of the “Approved Intake,” which will be over and above (supernumerary) the “Approved Intake,” plus any unfilled vacancies from the first year, as per AICTE norms from time to time. A candidate with a diploma in the appropriate branch of engineering, having at least 50% marks and a rank in the ECET entrance examination conducted by the A.P. State Government, is eligible for admission.
  • If any seats remain unfilled, such seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% marks in the Diploma Examination (10+3) or its equivalent.

Eligibility criteria for admission into M. Tech:

  • Should have passed undergraduate B.Tech course in respective engineering departments with at least 50% marks or its equivalent Degree from any university recognized by UGC.
  • Admission will be based on GATE Score / APPGECET with at least 50% marks in B.Tech or its equivalent Degree from any university recognized by UGC.
  • If any seats remain unfilled, such seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% marks in B.Tech or its equivalent Degree from any university recognized by UGC.

Siddhartha Post-Graduate Common Admission Test (SPCAT) for admission to   

            MBA /MCA:

Eligibility criteria for appearing SPCAT –  MBA / MCA:

  • Candidates should have passed a 3- or 4-year degree course in any stream conducted by a recognized university, or an equivalent degree examination in the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern, as recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Eligibility criteria for admission into MBA:

  • Candidates qualified in SPCAT / APICET with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in Degree of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent Degree and also based on group discussion & personal interview performance.
  • If any seats remain unfilled, such seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% marks in Degree of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent Degree and also based on group discussion & personal interview performance.
  • Candidate who passed all the subjects of three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission into MBA Course.

Eligibility criteria for admission into MCA:

  • Should have passed degree of 3- or 4-years duration with “Mathematics” as one of the subjects at Intermediate or Degree level for admission into MCA course.
  • Candidates qualified in SPCAT / APICET with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in Degree of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent Degree .
  • If any seats remain unfilled, such seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% marks in Degree of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent Degree and also based on group discussion & personal interview performance.
  • Candidate who passed all the subjects of three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission into MCA Course.

  • Candidates with MCA & Tech (CSE / IT) / M. Sc. (Mathematics / Computer Science) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks either in their MCA / M.Sc. or M. Tech) are eligible for Ph.D in Computer Science and Allied Engineering.
  • A valid SRCAT score (Siddhartha Research Common Admission Test) conducted by Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education(Deemed to be university). is mandatory for both full-time and part-time admissions followed by interview
  • The candidates with valid score in Joint CSIR-UGC NET/ APSET / APRCET are exempted from SRCAT but the admission is based on interview.
  • D.in Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / English / Social Science / Management
  • 10+2+3 + 2 or equivalent in Sciences/Humanities/Management.
  • The candidates under the above category are admitted under part-time program and not eligible for fellowship.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their Bachelor’s or Master’s in the relevant discipline.
  • A valid SRCAT score is mandatory for both full-time and part-time

Scholarship:

  • Scholarships are offered based on merit in all the B.Tech programs, not exceeding 30 percent of the intake in the respective courses, on a first-come, first-served basis.

    1. Should secure minimum 75% attendance.
    2. Should secure 7.5 CGPA without backlogs.
    3. If the above conditions are not fulfilled, scholarships will be discontinued.
