American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill development across all engineering disciplines while promoting the vital role of the engineer in the society.
V R Siddhartha Engineering College started ASME student section in the year 2017 in the Mechanical Engineering department. There are at present twenty five student members and a faculty advisor registered with the society.ASME-student section of the department continuously strives for organizing guest lectures, workshops etc. by inviting eminent personalities from research, Industry and academia on latest subject/ topics related to the advances in the Mechanical Engineering domain.
