Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
SAEINDIA is a strategic alliance partner of SAE International registered in India as an Indian non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of the mobility industry in India. It is the most preferred technical body for knowledge dissemination & skill development of ‘mobility’ professionals, students and faculty. It has four regional sections and hundreds of collegiate clubs spread across the country.
Mechanical Engineering department started SAEINDIA student chapter in the Academic Year 2018-19. There are almost fifty student members and two faculty members registered with the society. The student chapter of SAEINDIA arranges guest lectures, workshops etc. related to the developments taking place in the automotive sector. It also supports the students of Mechanical department in participating in national competitions like SAE-BAJA and SAE-Supra etc.
