AICTE Extended EoA for a period of 5 years
- This Extended EOA is granted based on the Order of Autonomy issued by UGC vide order No No.F.22-1/2017(AC) Dated.17/04/2018 with the validity of autonomy for VELAGAPUDI RAMAKRISHNA SIDDHARTHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE is upto 30-Jun-2028
Accreditation
- The institute is accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ grade in 2021.
- NBA Accreditation for all UG Programmes in Outcome Based Education format approved by Washington Accord, USA- One among few Engineering Colleges in the Country to go in for Accreditation under Outcome Based Accreditation format- with Washington Accord regulations in 2013 & 2015.
Center of Excellence and Collaborative Labs
- TIFAC-CORE in the area of ‘Telematics’ supported by DST, Government of India (Rs. 1.56 Crores).
- Composite Materials- Supported by DST Under FIST- Rs. 40 Lakhs – Foundation laid by Dr. Avinash Chander, Former Scientific Advisor, Government of India.
- Establishment of Siemens Center of Excellence – (In collaboration with APSSDC, SIEMENS and VRSEC) – First college to establish 15 Advanced Labs and CM’s Skill excellence center.
- Video Analytics Lab in association with ADRIN – ISRO, Hyderabad.
- Collaborative Labs with IBM, Oracle, CISCO, National Instruments, University of West Albama, Apple, Dassault Systemes and BOSCH.
Research, Development, Consultancy and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- CE, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and ME departments are recognized as Research Centres for offering Ph.D. programs by JNT University, Kakinada.
- Sponsored research projects by the UGC, AICTE, DST, DRDO, ISRO amount to Rs 5.00 Crores during the last five years.
- During last five years more than 1500 research articles are published in national and international journals and no. of citations are more than 3000 (Scopus & Google Scholar).
- Very strong base in offering Consultancy and testing services revenue earned during the last five years: Rs.10.0 Crores.
- 27 patents were filed by our faculty and students.
